I know a nice camping area there where its cheap to stay and its in the middle of the city. Nothing to fancy and you have to wait (its crowded there during con times as everywhere) and pay 50ct to shower but I've been at far worse locations :D
Yo can not call them to hold you a place free tho so who ever shows up first will get a place. That means they could be full by friday or even earlier.

Walking to the nearest bus station takes about 15 minutes and then you have to change to a tram. Its really close to the con if you have a car.

Last year I stayed at a area owned by a redneck family with a smoking 14 year old son, everybody was obese and the toilets and showers were really ****ing nasty. The bus came every 2 hours there. So never ever go there http://camping-lohmar.de/blog/ I ended up staying at a friends place instead after one night even tho it took longer to get to the con.

My girlfriend got me tickets for saturday and sunday so I will be there with her as well! (She will be a L4D2 spitter if we get to finish it in time)
 
Okay so we had the idea to make a list of the people that attend Gamescom over at the Facebook page. It would be awesome to see who goes there and to meet up to take pictures or just meet and have fun :) the question is how we approach this list in the best way. Are there any suitable websites to create a dynamic list or is it better to just post it in text?
 
I dont want to spam the thread about the attending people so I'll write this here hoping its the correct place.

As stated above my girlfriend got me tickets and we booked a hotel room which was pretty awesome.
Now the sad part is she broke up with me a few days ago so I have a bed to offer in a hotel in cologne from saturday to sunday. The room costs 85 euro so 42,50 per person but I'm open for suggestions. Beds are seperated so you don't have to worry about cuddling with a bearded spartan :lol
I already have one guy thats interested from the facebook group but he stated that its not 100% sure so I'll also give the offer here.
