Right now im in corpus christy TX (far far south of TX)where there is going to be a hurricane
the news said its going to be in Wednesday and its monday today
so tomorrow i might go to austin TX
i actually think its going to be fun

Its not. I went to my lakehouse to get away from rita. It was supposed to hit houston and katy. Veered off and hit directly at our lakehouse. Worse part? Long drive. A normal 3 hour dive was 12 hours and some drivers were asleep at the wheel. And there was almost no gas >:[ And almost all our trees gotknocked down. In katy, everybody was partying in the streets. But thats just my story

You arnt kiddin... I lost my house and all my belonging in Hurricane Wilma..... The only things to walk out of that house with me intact and not full of seawater was my cat....

4.5 feet of water in your living room sucks, but my family made the best of it. Who can honestly say that theyve gone snorkeling in their living room? or how about kayaking down a 2 lane street?

Eh, I needed to clean out my closet anyway lol.

This is right by my old house, the photo was taken after the water receded about 2 feet. So yeah, everything on the islands were royally screwed lol. Hurricanes aint nuthin but a chiken wang thang.

Hurricanes F*%$ing suck, Believe us Floridians WE KNOW.

I lost my baby to a Hurricane , My poor poor PS3 just HAPPENED to be on the floor when a Hurricane came rolling through. My floor got soaked (No Major flooding though, only a wet carpet) and I totally forgot it was on the floor. So....I turned it back to Best Buy, told them it was just faulty and got myself a 360 lol

good luck, i would never want to live down south, the last hurricane that slammed full force into Philly was Floyd (back in 1999 )


yeah, we do get the aftershocks though, which still sucks.

Oddly enough, when Frances hit, Outback Steakhouse stayed open. I had the Alice Springs Chicken. Very surreal experience. Thankfully I was living in a 2nd story appartment.
