Filler primer really does work wonders. I give my raw prints a round at 180 and 220 with the palm sander, then filler primer, hand sand, filler primer hand sand, and repeat. It can come out looking SMOOTH pretty quick.


Having done extra passes on the raw print before priming before, it’s really not worth the extra effort after a point. Primer will always sand easier than plastic. For the places you can’t get the sander in just hand sand the raw print as best you can with sand paper, maybe wrap some around a popsicle stick for the really hard to reach parts.


Looking good so far, can’t wait to see the results!
