Reason why I asked about cast from your suit is because of your height. Everyone else I inquire about is much taller, so the cast would be much too big for me.

nice job on the armor! it looks even better when its all on together. i have a question though. did you use a dremel to get the details? if so which attachment did you use? i can never get the details to be that sharp.

actually all the details were done with using the HD models and teh back of the torso is just cardboard as well as teh details on the helmet

dude! dude! you are it man! this is the best pep ive ever seen! im so surprised. are you still going to dragon con it is tomarrow?

yea i meant how did you get the lines to stay sharp after resin and bondo. i was wondering if you just sanded to used a dremel. cause i cant figure out which attachment to use.

well all i did was add glaze to everything very little bondo was used in making this (only on the shin which was damaged) and i dunno how i did i guess im just getting better with fiberglass after all this is my 2nd suit. and all i used was 150 grit sandpaper which is funny because it leaves it just as smooth as 500 grit go figure

and thanks gears but i think se7en heads torso looks better and macattacks helmet looks better too

thats probably the problem then. i think im using too much bondo where i dont need it and covering the details. i think ill pick up some 150 grit sandpaper too.

it could be because if you check my tutorial videos i only used bondo just to smooth or even my work i never really used it for detailing thats why i just made the cod thigh and shin models because it was better than doing it with bondo. btw the bicep and thigh straps done

rachciav, make small portions of bondo so you dont put too much on, or waste too much. I always make a team spoon's worth and just make a small bead size dot of hardener, maybe 2 beads, depends on whatever comes out of the tube.

Make sure you fold the bondo, it takes longer to fold, but you'll have less air bubbles. Mixing it in circles traps air and causes holes to appear after you sand.

You can always mix some up and put it on, but you cant ever take off a major problem. I ruined a helmet the first time I used bondo, way back before there were tutorials on how to use it. I followed the instructions on the can, made too much, rushed to use it all, and covered up so much detail, I ruined the helm.

Just use thin layers, you just want to smoothen out those seams.

Excellent job! The weathering is awesome. Looks like some ruthless battles took place while wearing that. Love the color choice as well. Congrats!

well i have bad news it seems dragon con is out of reach...

my problem is that i have $120 in the bank and $355 coming in from the old suit the problem is i dont have a ride that will get me that far and back and i dont have the money from the old suit yet my only hope is my friend kurokuma who is on the forums. so all i can do know is think of a way to get there and back as well as getting a hotel for the weekend which is like 50 bucks a night so lets 100 for the hotel, 100 for the convention and 270 for gas and food... hmm so lets say itll take 100 to get there and a 100 back and i can use 20 for food well maybe i can do this if i get paid for my suit immeaditly after the sale ends for bidding on the suit..

well if there is anyone in florida who wants to go lemme know all i need is a ride and i can help out for some of the financial concerns i outlined

only problem is...im not using regular bondo. im using aqua resin. so it has a different consistency and hardness. ect.
i thinks thats the main problem. the way it spreads isnt as smooth as regular bondo it can be clumpy.

That's so sad! What happened crack head? You were so quick to build a godly suit (one of the best from pep) and you cant wear it? :(

Well atleast while you are still home, you could start practicing on molding pieces. :p
