ok so i have been looking around for quite awhile now trying to find a dark red hjc visor that will fit in my Mark vi helmet but all i can find it pink and light red ones you can see through if anybody knows of where i can get a dark red on it would be alot of help ( and yes ive looked on the stickys for websites regarding visors)

have you tried going to your local motorbike shop and asking a) if they have them or 
if they can order one in for you? my local has every color, although they were kept out back so i didnt see how dark the red was. alternatively you could put a black or chrome one behind a red one to make it look darker, although it woulndt be cost effective

With regards to people not taking you seriously, I'll agree with RadioactiveMicrobe, as long as you don't seem like a complete idiot who's messing with them for fun, they'll believe that you're seriously considering buying a visor. I don't think age makes a difference as long as you're over 12.
