Difference between H2 & H3 Mark 6?

Can someone elaborate all the differences between the Halo 2 and Halo 3 Mark 6 armor?
I know the gloves are different and Halo 3 has armor damage, but is there any other major differences?

The hand armor is the most visible difference between the two. Beyond that, the Halo 3 is pretty much just a more defined/detailed version. Aside from the hands, the armor shape and pattern is pretty much the same, it is primarily small details pieces on the Cod/Posterior and the Thighs, for example. The Halo 2 armor is also "Smoother."
