Egg's Noob H1 Marine

Hey guys, my first project ever here.

Right now, I don't have any pics but I have all the pep stuff printed out.



I do have a few questions though. The H1 rine armor doesn't really have any detail, so do I still need to bondo it after fiberglassing?

Oh and right now, I don't have any hot glue, just an elmer's glue stick. Is that okay?

Also, what stuff would I need to order in advance, because theres only 17 days till halloween left.



Heres another thing, the H1 marine's BDU's are grey. I really don't want to buy grey BDU's because I'll never use them lol. I have a pair of pants (I think I have a pic), but they're in digi. I think either way, the costume would look good, but I'm not certain.

(me) (also, I don't have a matching top, other than that underarmor type shirt, you think that'd work with a tee shirt?)

Well if you just resin and fiberglass it, you'll still have a great piece of armor. Bondo is just a reassurance and makes it look nice and smooth in the end! It's up to you. As for details you could add a couple belts, ammo clips and grenades to make that marine armor look snappy and cool! >

Update....

I finished pep-ing the helmet... but I think the scale is off.. it fits HUGE on my head

Just ask yourself: does this look cool or silly?

if it is that huge then maybe you should redo it but it looks good on how you pepped it. keep it up.

That looks a whole lot easier than the Halo 3 Marine Helmet.

Update



Shoulders pepped, unfortunately, the marine_left_shoulder.pdo and marine_right_shoulder.pdo are the same model, so now I have one pointing forward and one pointing back. I'm probably going to make them even using the bondo. They're about the correct size in comparison to in game photos and make my oversized bucket look less big

I'm gunna have to pick up the pace if I wanna get this done by halloween though.

I'm working with Forged Reclaimer's models to try and get all the torso pieces together.
