OK 405th, you are my only hope to fix this...

So this is what's going on. I have convinced the administration at my school to let me wear my armor to the homecoming dance THIS SATURDAY at 8:00 PM. The problem is that I didn't scale the chest right. I scaled it to fit my chest without my pressure suit on. I obviously don't have time to make a new one. So I need to know if there's anything I can do to make it fit.

Best thing I can think of is connect it at the top, print out two more of the side pieces, fiberglass the, and use them to fill the gap on the sides. I've got a lot of questions for you about that pressure suit though concerning its size and dimensions and such. Can I PM you and you can answer when you have the time? Thanks! And good luck on your torso :)

EDIT: I just read Draakjuh's post, he actually brings up a good point haha. Perhaps it would be better for you to not waste the time on repairing the chest and just forget about the pressure suit for now. It looks like you've still got some work to do and two days isn't very long at all. You'll be in a dark room, people will barely notice the undersuit.s Just a thought.

feel free to PM me, and i will answer your questions to the best of my ability.
as for the "you'll be in a dark room. no one will notice the pressure suit." what do you advice for halloween?

Get some foam mats at Walmart and just cut/shape/sand them to the size you need to fill in the gaps and paint to match the chest and back. Good luck!

so i'd just walk in to walmart and ask for foam mats? i've never used foam before, so i just want to make sure i am using the right stuff.

Ok, thanks! I only say to forget about it for now since you need it by tomorrow and it looks like you still have a good amount of work to do. For Halloween you'll at least have another week!

I like this idea, it seems easy, quick, and effective. It really all depends on how it fits you. Is it wide enough for you? And by "wide" I mean do the side pieces connected to the back fit around your sides ok? If not then I think it'll be pretty difficult to fix :( But I'm sure it can be done! On the other hand, if it is wide enough, any of the ideas given so far should work perfectly. are you looking for a permanent fix or a temporary fix?

Temp fix that looks good. I'm going to haft to rebuild the chest and the cod because they are both too small. Might also rebuild the right shoulder because it's pretty warped at the bicep.

The mats should be around the athletic section where you see dumbbells and weights. They are 48"x48" and are charcoal gray.
