EVA helmet/armor

Hello posters, i have restarted on an EVA helme, so far I have made the visor about 85% done I will post pictures later tonight. But what I was wondering is how I could scale the actual helmet to fit the visor which is scaled to 26 cm. Thanks. Oh and I plan to make the sholders and chest aswell.

If your're using slyflo's EVA helmet files I think they are already scaled correctly to match up. If not I think you can just cut and paste the scale number from the visor into the helmet. Im not sure, but I think that's how Belakor scaled his chest attachments to fit his flying squirl chest. Scaling confuses me, sometimes I get it right, other times I bollocks it up. Hope that helps.

Thank you. So having the scale 26 cm. will work for both helmet and visor.

Nope, that will make the visor too big for the helmet, under the box where you put the height in cm's there is a scale number, thats the number you want.... I think

yeah that is what i did and mine fit perfectly.

So just to make it clear same scale number for visor and helmet will make it fit my head? Or should I make the helmet bigger?

well what size do you normally scale your helmet to? if you change the scale slyfo's file should follow the same method. i usually set my helmets height at 27.5(large head) and i got the scale from my CQB helmet and just pasted it into my EVA helmet and EVA visor .pdo and they fit together perfectly. so whatever you scale your helmets to, put into the scale for both parts of the EVA

good, updates are good. i would have pics of my stuff but my camera bit the dust so i'm just going to have a large TA-DA photo gallery someday but are you going to Vac form the visor then?

To clarify this: at the same scaling factor both pieces will be different finished heights, thus the same finished height for each will get you mismatched pieces.

Slightly off topic but relate: I swear there is a credit card commercial with an actor using an EVA bucket without the dome. I will try to find it but my work Net Nazis restrict where I can go.

another question: does anyone have an EVA helmet file with both the visor and helmet on it. Thanks. I would like it forfitting the two pieces togather.

Well, you can just open the EVA helm file, then import the visor file.

Hmm. If when you say texture, you mean what it looks like in game, then you're probably out of luck. Oh, and you're welcome .
