Ok hard to explain. I already painted my armor and the like because I had to finish for an event so I never did the right amount of layers. Would it be ok if a continued to resin and glass and then painted again without any problems?

Absolutely, it's okay. Like LastSpartan said, you might sand off the paint just to make sure, but even if you don't, you'll be fine. I paint between layers of resin often just because it helps me see what needs to be sanded more.

I agree. If it's been painted for a long time though, I'd at least scuff it, or go over it with some fine grit sandpaper. It will help adhesion.

It's been painted since just before Halloween so should I sand it off? Oh and I need to cover the visor because it's already in the helmet so what is the best way to cover it and then remove it later? Oh ya one more, is it ok if I bondo over the paint too?

You don't have to sand it all off but it should be roughed up a bit. I'd use either a Scotchbrite (scuff) pad or some fine grit paper. If you have a medium grit, that will work. Personally I'd try and use 150 grit or finer or you run the risk of adding scratches that will have to be worked out later. Then clean it well before you coat it again (resin, primer, bondo, paint....whatever. As long as it's roughed, any will work)
As far as covering the visor you can get away with regular masking tape (not the really cheap stuff, Scotch or 3m is best) if you don't leave it on for days. If you have to leave it on awhile I'd go with blue painters tape.
I'd like to see it when you're done.
Good luck!

Test it our first, as the resin could actually lift the paint up similar to how paint stripper works. It depends on what is getting mixed with what.

I'm thinking I may not need to do this. I'm starting to look into the molding market. If so, I will just be making a new helmet (and a couple for the friends). If I proceed with the old helmet, I'll post pictures and how...
