Foam First construction of a helmet using EVA foam

Hi, sorry if I'm breaking any rules or anything, I'm new here. Recently this year I made my first helmet out of EVA foam, using molds from Heroworkshop. I ended up not liking the result and threw the helmet away. I'd like your opinion on whether it turned out well or not.

As a first-time prop, this is a really good first attempt. It looks proportional and looks like it would fit well.

There are some reasonably easy-to-address fixes on the next attempt, but you should be proud. My first helmet was so big it would have almost been 2 times too large, and my second helmet was so small it cut my ears when I put it on.

The simplest next step is something with just a little more detail, and to take more time cutting and gluing. I know the simple props look really basic and have little in the way of detail, and your skill can get lost in the result.

Looking forward to seeing you around the site!

Hell a foam ODST bucket is pretty hard to pull off but for a first attempt it’s fairly good, has the recognizable shape to it, but if you want advice from a fellow foam jockey, I would recommend “buffer” space to connect pieces with barely a visible seam, I can post a pic for more detail but don’t want to do that without your approval being your thread and what not, but yeah looking forward to your improvement!
