I've found it definitely holds up better, even the cheaper elmer's brand rubber cement.

for extra sturdiness you can add Hotglue from behind, that what i did, so you get the clean edges (importen here is a sharp knife) and in the Back on Point with movement i reinforced it with Hotglue or even thin Foam strips(not visible from outside) so you got the good from booth worlds
