Hi, I'm kinda just getting started and have no idea what I'm doing here, but I want to make the Mk IV suit from Dead Space:
My loose plan is to 3D print the pieces, spray them with a conductive spray paint, then electroplate copper onto those pieces. I'll secure them onto a set of suitable clothes with either button snaps (if it isn't too heavy) or straps, depending on which is more accurate.
I have all the stuff to experiment with electroplating prints, and will update the thread based on my success. I do need to model a LOT of pieces for it, and that will take a bunch of time, and I also need to figure out how to scale it for my body. If you have any tips or resources for that part, I'd love the help getting started!
All the lights and electronics will probably be slapdashed together on a prototyping board and mostly safe, but I should be fine on that part
