Glue for rigging?

I have used E6000, Shoe Goo, and Cyanoacrylate (CA) Super Glue on straps before. All three have worked, but I, personally, had a little better results with the E6000, as occasionally the CA Super Glue did not hold completely. That could have been user error on my part.

An important thing to do, whatever the glue, is to scuff up the spot on the print where you are going to attach the strap. This gives the glue more surface area to grip.

*EDIT* A good website to get glue recommendations is "This To That," for future reference:

I second using e6000. The extra flexibility really helps it stay when under load/stress. I have had instances (even as recent as last week) where CA glue has failed and detached from the print.

I like E6000 as well but recently found one instance where it didn't work ... I was gluing some elastic bands to some boot armor pieces which were cast from Smooth-On Smooth cast 45D which is a semi rigid resin and after 24 hrs the elastic bands could just be pulled off so I had to resort to. 2 part expoxy which has secured them permanently ...
