Ok I got 7000mcd led 30 degrees 25ma 3.3v to 3.6v x4 and 470k ohm resistor1/2 watts 5% tolerance. Is those correct? Or am I get wrong resistor? And should I get an turn button to adjust ion the lights?

The LED are probably good for your suit lights but not for the helm, maybe 15000mcd for the headlamps..
And also the 470ohm resistor is OVERKILL unless your planning to run everything off the one source having multiple series wired parallel and using the resistors to reduce the power for the smaller series???

Dang the radio shack I went only had 7000 mcd for the size I wants. So what kind resistor should I grab for those LEDs?

Ahh alright I just ordered that so we will see how long it will take to here. Since that site is in au and I'm in USA

There are tons of places to purchase LED's here in the states. www.eled.com is one. As for your question about resistance, check out this site...

http://led.linear1.org/led.wiz

Since you have the information about the LED's (forward voltage and forward current) and I assume you know the voltage of the power source and how many LED's you want to use, just plug those numbers into the fields in this site and it will calculate and design your circuit and list what size resistors you will need. If there are enough LED's in your circuit, it may even give a few alternative designs.

Did I hear a 470k ohm?? I'm sure you meant 470 ohm.
470 and 500 ohm resistors are generally sold for car installs with 12V battery.

Follow the advice the other guys gave, ebay is a great source for LEDs. I like these guys, click the ebay store link.

edit: darn, looks like they are closed all month. lame
