Halo 2 Soundboard Beta

Sometimes I like playing around with random soundboards, but when I look for a Halo one, they're all crap. So I've decided to just make my own . This one doesn't have any of the stupid background sounds (such as a gunshot before "Betrayal"), and the sound quality is much better.

So here it is:

Right now only the "Multiplayer" section is finished. The other sections are there, but have no sounds. It doesn't have very many "graphical extras", but it still works .
I'm going to try to put quotes from campaign in later. Though the Chief sounds wierd without the epic background music .

Thats really cool, I prefer the mp voice from H3 though, it has a weird effect to it that is really cool.

I prefer the Halo 3 voice and everything too, but I'm extracting these sounds from Halo 2 for good sound quality. I can't extract sounds from Halo 3 yet, so I'm doing a Halo 2 one first. As soon as I can extract the Halo 3 sounds, I will make a Halo 3 soundboard.

this is so cool, it kinda sounds weird though to hear the multiplayer voice with out the sound of bullets and explosions in the background. also do you think you could get weapons sounds, like say an assualt rifle, or sword?

True it is weird not to hear ambient noise!

I request weapon sounds too!

I thought about it, and I might make the weapon sounds next. Something along the lines of you press it, and it sounds like it shoots. Hold it for automatic weapons, and click for semi-auto. The only problem is that the AR is not in Halo 2 .

awsome! do you think that i could some how use the weapons sounds to make a motion activated sword. that like would make the clashing noises when you hit it, and the noise when you turn it on? or would that be impossible. either way i think i might make slayer the sound that plays when i turn on my computer

Well, I've decided to make a series of soundboards rather than one that has them all. It would be to big IMO. I'll re-release the MP one as a finished soundboard later.

I'm working on the grunts right now. I've extracted every sound from ingame, and am now orginizing them all into buttons. Most of the buttons will work that when you press it, you will get one of several sounds that pretty much say the same thing. The sounds for the grunts take up 32mb, but I'll be removing a lot of them, so it should be a bit smaller.

EDIT: I just counted the amount of sounds, and there are 1220 grunt sound effects for me to go through .
