well i ran into some problems.....the recon helm was to small, so iam scaleing it up. but i cant print yet, my printer broke itself again...dran...so i might get started on the hel as early as to marrow or as late as friday next week.



sooooo bumed out that the scaling was wrong....aahhh!!!

^yes iam using paper, but I got this arisol spry stuff thats like glue but is like hair spray. And dosnt get paper all sogy and mushy.

I hope to get this done by hlao3 odst relese night. that might be a big ordeal, but I got to try!



p.s. my buddy stonedpanda is going to have my EOD helm. for the relese

I just cut straight across the tips and then cut out the triangles later. Makes it a lot easier on your hands

i know of a pepakura printer that cuts the pieces out for i think $230 but i cant remember the name of it

I hate those pieces too! They are the worst! There were TONS of them for my hayabusa helmet. That thing took me 15 HOURS to cut out and glue together. I am halfway done with my Recon helmet now. I am making the same one you are. I have about 7 hours put into it so far, BUT I'm afraid it might be just a little too small!
