Ok everyone, I've been browsing the forumes for a few months, and finaly decided to show some pictures of my guns. Just to let you all know, EVERYTHING is made from cardboard, so I think its pretty good.

First thing, my BR55HB SR Battle Rifle. Its not exactly righy, but its my V2, not my new V3. Its full scale, and was made with a removeable mag. and a working charging handle that if pulled back, it will automaticly spring forward.

Next is the MA5C assault rifle, V2. It has the same functions as the battle rifle.

Now for the In progress M6G pistol, V1. Its desinged to actualy have shells inside the clip, and when you pull the triger, the top flys back, and the empry shell flyes out.

Just for future questions, I use blueprints off of this sight, and measure them, and scale them up onto a large piece of paper. Than, I cut out 7-12 identical shapes from cardboard. Later, I glue on detailes and such, so it takes on the form of the weapon. Next, I add last detailes, over any places I need to, and than paint it according to pictures from bungie.net.

well I'm a pep guy but very good, for an added touch you could try bondoing a top layer for details, but looks rather good as is.

These look very good for cardboard, especially the grip on the pistol! That must have taken a long time with some serious patience. Keep it up!

And don't let your age discourage you, I myself am 14 as well, and many others are just as old if not a bit older. And I know many of them have some serious skills in propmaking.

Sorry if theres double posting but W/E.

Thanks for the comments. Those are the old guns, the new ones im making ( Halo 3 sniper rifle, BR55HB SR BR V3) are much better so far. The detail on the handle of the grip on the pistol was actualy easy. I just used a hole puncher and used the circles and glued them on.

I vote.. Best first post ever! These prop's look amazing! Well done! And only 14? I can deffinatley see talent here! BTW. Dont worry you'r not double posting, thats where you make another post straight after your's, so you have 2 post's stacked together (if that made any sence). Welcome to the forum's!

It takes time to make them. Those arn't my best ones either. There highly in-accurate. I have a new battle rifle V4 on hold, and a new assault rifle V3 on hold. I also have a sniper rifle V2 on hold, and a M6G pistol V1 on hold!

I have a lot of work to do!

I think you are doing a very good job with your weapons. I have no skill at all with cardboard. These look very nice! Keep it up and keep us updated.

Ok, heres some pictures of the updated M6G and the sniper rifle.

M6G-

wow
absolutely fantastic
i cant wait to see your odst finished
lol i just turned 15 oct 6 and your cardboard skills are a bit better than mine :)

Wow! So detailed and only cardboard! Awesome job, can't wait to see more!

EDIT: I suggest using hot glue instead of masking tape. It will hold a lot better and look cleaner when you're done.

Thanks for the comment xXBattle RifleXx.

is the grip coming off that assault rifle?
I mean, I probably haven't spent near the amount of time others have looking at it, but it just seems like the front grip is coming of at an angle.
Very nice overall, man. The guns are very detailed, and there are no major defects that I can see, but once again, I don't exactly have a trained eye for halo.
Great job!

Nope, its not coming off, but than again, I don't quite know EXACTLY what you mean...

That gun was my first gun believe it or not. Its been 2 years, and as soon as I can, I'll make a new one and have a side by side comparison to show the talent gained from the things I have lurned from this sight.

Keep the comments coming!

Strange... I found it easy to use and worked great for cardboard... But that's just me. Is there something wrong with your glue gun?
