:confused wait a second didn't you just build a cardboard SAW, and now you want to go to the five mile high club with your builds, making them work. I don't mean to be mean but if you were going to make a working flamethrower. which I doubt anyone has made, and the reach turret I have two of them. PITA they where but now I've got them doneish need's paint and a lot of it. plus if you want you could do what I plan on doing if I had the time, which is just epic, a guass hog gun, more parts then I care on building. and yeah I also have a halo 3 turret but it's part of a hog build.

No harm no foul my friend. Like I said any future build would be on the low and slow, I'm simply jotting down ideas as the come to me. True the SAW is cardboard, with a splash of bondo, foam, and PVC, but realistically is more of a conversation piece than a game accurate replica I'd be eager to show off at a high class Con. Some might see cardboard to working model as a big step, but where as I have no shame in admitting I'm a cardboard noob, the afore mentioned weapons on my to do list would involve materials that Im far more used to working with: metal, motors, gears, sprockets, valves etc. I actually kinda like the way you put it "the mile high club," and if there ever was a way to join it, a working prop is definitely the way in. The weapons I had listed were just the few I had ideas on how to turn into full working or semi-working props. A nerf launcher speaks for itself, a simple multi-speed fan motor with an equipped battery and gear system could drive a rotating barrel assembly and ammo belt, and a flame thrower is as simple as a mini propane tank and grill ignitor ( mind you I'm not talking about something belching a 30 ft flame, plus I'm really not too sure on how the admins and mods would like that thread anyways, with associated safety concerns not to mention my parents fear of me setting my house ablaze) but at the end of the day any and all of those projects are still in my head and nowhere close to coming to life even on paper. On a side note your gauss cannon is a neat idea that I may just have to keep in the back of my mind, but I was going for weapons that were at least somewhat man portable.

DylanMarx, glad you like the skin, I have a sinking feeling that this may end up on a gun stand as a conversation piece rather that a prop that I troop with, so it's good to know that my chosen 'canvas' has been well received!

house ablaze lol alike like the movie project X, oops their goes the everything.

but the gauss turrnet is actually for a Spartan, I had to pull a lot of screen shots just to make it look usable which was fun to build -_- resized the whole gun, added a bit of rail gun/turret, then had to build a attachment for the suit to plug the power into and boom it was done. and I'm part of the mile high club I've got a spade.

and speaking of con's i'm going to a webbing at one, kami-con 2014 the host are getting married. and cosplay is welcome. as long as you don't have a dress or body paint, plus no weapons, god i'm going to hate my suit before I can go in, I've got like dozen weapons on me, (not counting grenades). I might have some one record the customs guy watching me pull weapons off. lol my god it's going to be a long day, heck maybe you should come to it.
