I recently entered a raffle in which the grand prize is this .50 cal sniper rifle, worth almost $5000 in total. As I was examining it, I noticed that it's simple design and features could possibly be used to create a working Halo 3 Sniper Rifle. Some of the dimensions don't match up, for instance, the gun itself is only 48" long and the Halo sniper rifle is much longer. It would be one of the most expensive projects you could ever do, but the end result would be full of win. Not many people entered the drawing and I'm hoping I win, but I'm not counting on it. 2nd place receives a $2500 AR-15 and the drawing is on October 1st, so I will know then whether or not I won or not. If I win, I will definately attempt to make this a Halo sniper rifle.
