i thought that the halo movie was supposed to be released in 2007 and now its already 3 months into 2008 is it because of the writers strike or something totaly diferent

I'm not even sure theyre that far...theyre still trying to figure out everything...theyre not even in production yet..theyre still kinda just planning

theyre still in pre production thats insane if they started in like 2006 didnt they peter jackson better not jack this up thats probly why theyre still in pre cus he didnt like the start the had

Last I heard M$ couldn't get a studio to use the script they had written without changing anything. That's just what I heard though.

the reason why its been delayed because fox studios pulled out their funding making the project go nowhere fast

Also, thay have nowhere to film.
The Halo movies budget was 40 million, but FOX studios noticed that it will cost an average of 200million.
It's a budget issue.

The reason for the movie being delayed is due to two things. The writers strike affected the release of the movie but even though this was a problem most of the script was written. The other problem was because they had about 3 directors lined up to film this movie but all 3 directors dropped out because they thought it was going to be to big of a challenge

because of this the movie may not be filmed but we can still hope it will

I hope this clears up any questions pertaining to the release of the movie

wow buddy you are so wrong. They decided to film the movie in New Zealand when the first started to prepare for this film

The movie was dropped because MS's percentage of the profits alongside Jackons producers fee, was to high for the studio to make enough money. Since they dumped Garland's script I had a bad feeling about the film anyway.

They may still make it, it will probably just go to a cheaper production group. like the team that made the DOA movie....
