Halo Newbie - handmade Cortana build

Hello my name is Lozz, and i’m relatively new to Halo. Have played the games through each twice but have gone to heaps of Cons with my fiancé and have made amazing friends and love the australian Halo community. Here is my partner in his Chief and I at Supanova last year with my Barbie Fairy I made.

My main hobby is sewing, and after Pax Australia 2025 I was very inspired to start working on a handmade Cortana build. I started brainstorming and researching at the big Halo meetup.

Here is where I am up to currently: I have cutout bodysuit pieces out of baby blue multi stretch fabric based on a pattern I made and am cutting out black reflective fabric to make custom patches to sew onto the bodysuit base, a pattern I have spent hours making based of screenshots and renderings from the game to make it as accurate as possible. I have 60k sequins in varying colours I have ordered to bring my idea to life.

I am currently listening to Fall of Reach on audiobook in an attempt to educate myself more on Halo lore. I love what cortana means to chief and am looking forward to attending cons with my partner as cortana this year.
