Props Helmet Visors?

New member here...I'm not as familiar with the Halo world as I am with Star Wars, but I love the armor and have wanted to make a helmet for a while. I'm very experienced with 3D printing and have made quite a few Star Wars helmets and Marvel Helmets but the visors were pretty simple.

I'm in the process of making my first Halo helmet....Noble 6. I have the means to vacuum form the visor but I'm not familiar with getting that chrome look. I know I can keep it simple and use a flat piece of material and use a mirror tint and form it, but I want that detailed looking visor.

What are your tricks of the trade?
