I started this project over a year ago and unfortunately life got in my way so I have not made any progress in a long time. I recently decided to go to ECCC and cram out as much of this costume as I can in preparation. I also hope to start posting regularly in an effort to keep the progress going.

I'm only going Saturday and Sunday so I'll miss the meetup on Friday but I will be at the photo shoot on Saturday.

It’s 3d printed out of clear plastic so that led’s can shine through and get diffused, then covered with cut up cd’s

halo three rat is correct. It's mostly PLA with CDs to cover and LED's that shine through from the inside.

No and I would caution against trying to sand things flat. The texture helps with bonding surface area for the epoxy to hold the CD's down.
