How do I connect shoulder armor to bicep armor

Like slice with a blade? would sanding with some low grit sandpaper work?
Yeah, I made diagonal cuts with a blade at a 45° angle, then more at the perpendicular angle. Sandpaper would probably work too, but you'd want to clean off the dust before applying the steel stick

So i did my first test with just the magnets and file you sent me. Good news is, its very strong (i used 40x10x5 mm magnets). Bad news is, I cant get them apart from the test since there are no larger pieces connected to help give me leverage....

I got some groove joint pliers and had to brute strength it apart. I think it will do :lol:
