How many layers of fiber glass??

I'm putting the fiberglass but how many layers do I put?

it depends on how strong you want it. Most pieces are durable enough with one layer of fiberglass mat or cloth inside, but for high-risk or high-use pieces (butt, knee and elbowpads, boot tips, helmet), I put two layers in for a little extra security.

It depends on what you are using Cloth or Matt.
Cloth is thinner so I normally use 2 layers ... Matt I normally use 1 layer.
But it all depends on personal preference and how much resin you use when glassing.
Best thing I can suggest it use 1 layer let it set and then see strong it is ...if your not happy had another layer and so on.
