Yeah. I lived in Florida for most of my life and I noticed their hardware prices are more expencive than the ones I see here in Boston. Maybe thats why I will probably get mine done so cheap.

wel it shouldn't be about the cost it should be about having your own armor. screw the cost but that my opinion

if you work in section and do it on slow pace you can spread the cost. like

helmet
then body
shoulders
legs and feet

so far about 61 bucks i have a sander and you can get a cheep dremel for about 15-25 bucks so when i get that
it should be about 70-80 when all said and done plus i am taking my time on the models not rushing i have lots of time so my pep models will turn out good

actually, i spent about 100 bucks so far, just on hot glue (with gun), cardstock, blades, and ink!

I can answer for a full complete pepakura suit, provided you are starting from scratch like myself with zero power tools and zero supplies. I officially reached the $1030.00 USD as of today. This is from start to finish on a high quality pepakura armor, including an automotive paint job and a full set of under armor with appropriate strapping. This is an expensive hobby.

I'm so glad my dad has a Dremel, and almost half of everything else I need... all I really have to buy is card stock, Bondo, resin, fiberglass mat, visors, and possibly my respirator... he can supply any electrical things I need, spray paint, sandpaper...
