hey it looks great so far, but I have a few questions/ suggestions.

1. Will you be doing any more sanding/bondo work? Some of the pep edges are still pretty sharp??

2. Maybe you should consider making the spikes out of something other than fiberglass. I say this because as it is, it may be harmfull to spectators if the spikes are hard, and you may not be able to get into the door to get to the con. (It would be a shame if you did all that work, but you cant fit in the door!!) It may not be game accurate, but it might be a nessecary compromise??

well as of right now there isnt much i can do about the sharp edges i had very low def pep files im trying to smooth them out as much as possible but any more and ill cut through the fiber glass if a new soulutin arises ill be sure to apply it but if not im a pretty god painter and hopefully a good paint job might keep peoples mind off of it. About the spikes ive already glassed them (pain in the ass) and with enough bondo the edges are fine and ill just dull down the points because they dont need to come to an exact point. I hope that answers youre questions , my real problem right now is that i dont have a file for the halo 3 hunters gun thats what i really need help with.

I dont think there are any pep files for the gun, so maybe you should scratch build it?? Scratch building really isn't too difficult if you take your time and measure things out properly Its just time consuming....

like that one that they made the toy of ? that looks to me more like the halo 1 and 2 gun im building the halo 3 version with the really pointy crazy looking gun. cuz it is more bad ass looking .

which one?? It could work, although if the bumble be arm looks like halo 1 or two, would it be that difficult to change it to halo 3? But if u think u can mod the iron man arm to get it closer to the halo 3 one, then by all means do so!!!

but at the same time, you should take your time no since in rushing it and have to turn out screwed up, incomplete, or just looking like a bag of ass since you rushed to finish it. anything can be modded to work, just take your time, this is an awesome project, so plese take your time, do it justice !!!

wow sorry for the incredibly late update but my internship at gamestop has been slowing me down. ok first off i dont know what happend but my last update is missing so i will repost this picture.[attachment=15550:009.JPG]

this is just the current costume team.

next for the new stuff ive finished pep of the gun and am working on the difficult mechanics of getting it to fire and ive constructed the right arm. i built it out of cloth to allow it to be flexible and so i can interact with stuff without having to take off the suit so here you go.

ok first off let me apologize for the necro post but ive been really busy with my new job at gamestop and time has gotten away from me but that dosent mean ive stopped working. ive actually gotten a lot done the fabric work is only missing one piece that will be done by the end of the day all attachments have been made and yes the suit is finally painted here take a look.

its comming along preety good i just need to make the attachment for the right shoulder make the worms and finish the gun( at least as far as construction goes.) however i finally have enough of the suit to start testing and im starting to run into problems witch is to be expected mostly some small things like the cod piece knocing against the legs and an over heating issue that can be solved with some simple fans in the chest the big problem is that its to heavy for prolonged use and right now the only solution i can think of is to work out more and im hoping that works because right now i can barly go a half hour in the suit. however there should not be any big problems like me collapsing inside the suit but thats what testing is for so i guess well see what happens so until next time witch i promise wont be so far away this time, again sorry for the necro post and thanks for listening
