I'm starting to build my first set of armor and I'm having trouble finding the supplies I need. I also don't know what mistakes I should be worried about making. Experienced human beings, whats some advice you can give me so I don't **** up too bad my first try and what do you suggest I buy or don't buy along with places to purchase said items. Any help is welcomed and rewarded with cookies! jk I want to know this so I can start my live action, independnt Halo movie soon. Sincerely yours, HEX.

"Read the stickies" and "work safely" are the only things worth repeating all the time.

As for supplies... You failed to specifiy which country you live in, so any answer regarding that would be pure speculation. Try the internet.

And watch the language please.

I apologize for the vulgarity, I live in the United States and have had trouble finding things on the web for a cheap armor build, such as Aqua resin starter kits and foam matting.

oh sweet, that means on foam padding I can use my military ID to make it cheaper :D and I found a web site that sells aqua resin pretty cheap even with the shipping rate, hopefully lowes has the fiber glass matting too

you can just get regular fiberglass resin since you only go aqua if you want a non toxic fume alternative to avoid a respirator. but since you also get bondo auto body filler it pretty much means you need a respirator anyways. If you plan to make the armor in foam then you need Anti fatigue Foam mats, utility or hot knives, a ton of hot glue sticks and a high temp hot glue gun.

respirator is no problem i already have one but if i buy the fiberglass resin what size do you suggest? the 32oz or the one gallon?

1 gallon to start with. If you're going the way of hard armor you'll use allot, But is worth it.
