iron man Helmet help

so i pretty much finished pepping the helmet i just dont know what to do with this 1 part and i figured more people who know what to do would see this and help me out if it was a thread.

so i dont know how to glue this ear area on...do i glue it on as it sits now or do i glue the tab(part pointed to) onto the inside.the actual file on my computer doesnt really help either because i cant tell how it is attached on there either.

ps:im new to the picture posting so im still trying to get it down.

What i can tell you is to probably glue it too the side or anchor it there some how. Cause i have known some pieces that are free floating and need to be attached in some way on your own. Sorry i cant be of much more help.
