Ironman mark 42 build.

So my client has a change of heart. Original completion goal was PAX 2015. However the client has a big meet in DC in June for a game called ingress. To grossly simplify the game, it is a gps based hold the hill.

He wants to walk around DC in full armor in ingress color. Not sure if I can get everything done by June but I will try.

I redid the helmet colors in ingress style



Next is an interchangeable arc reactor with the ingress logo.

Got a lot done on the hands. I started the Zanbane palms but was discouraged. Ended up doing the EZ palm with some modification.

The fingers were not bad. Just that there are a lot of segments

Got the feet done. Started with my crusty shoes.


Added the boots with a hinged toe.


Then added to over lapping polystyrene covers.

It is Done!!!! Sort of. I have not posted progress pics in a while but progress has been made.





Now we are going to repaint the whole suit to Ironman 42 proper for Otakon

Man that's a pretty sweet IRON SMURF... Being an Ingress player myself I've often wondered about doing something like this. I just never have the Time. I'm loving the Mini Arc reactor chest plate logo.
