Love it! Wish I could be there Saturday to see the super happy kid. No idea this was happening but super awesome.

Might be a silly question but booth open Sunday as well?

For sure Thom A293 we'll have the booth both days. If you can swing by Saturday we'll do photos with the kid outside.

Due to both costume contests being on Saturday, we've decided to move our meet up to Sunday at 11:30am for photos. Location will be updated today.

Edit: Turned out that there was a Fascist rally scheduled at the same time for the spot that I marked on the map... There was probably a dozen people for that. Then around them on the stairs were anti-white supremacists that were protesting the rally. Luckily it was the anti ones that asked for a photo with us as we walked by. and apparently yelled to Thom, "Master Chief help fight fascism! "

Only Thom A293 and our brand new Young Jorge were in attendance this weekend, but man did we have a great time! Presenting this new suit to this kid was a lot of fun and with everything going on it was pretty hectic too.

But, we still managed to get some great photos. I trekked the crew across the street for a photo shoot that I thought turned out great, oh and we almost ended up on a white supremacist website. Lesson learned, be careful who you agree to take a photo with!

America is weird.

In Canadian conventions the worst we had was a religious group show up and offer leaflets, then an impromptu dance party broke out when the party van rolled up with Darude Sandstorm blasting to cover up their gospel music.
