More pictures soon

depending on the complexity of the piece and the amount of breaks in between could take days. Like i tried to do the war machine helmet and the Chin alone took me 4 hours.

Thanks. I am pretty close to being done cutting (12/12 page), and now i need to figure out where to fold. :/

The pictures aren't loading for me. Flickr isn't really meant for forums. If you want to post in picture form, try Photobucket or ImageShack.

If you want an honest opinion heres mine. The magnum can use improvement, the shotgun is looking good, and so far the energy sword is looking great.

if you have photo bucket you hover over the image you want to upload and it will pop up with things like email/im derect link and the one you want is img link click that it will say copied and then go to your thread edit post and paste the image.

Yeah, the shotty is my favorite, i can't wait for the sword, and the magnum...i might just give to a friend who likes it.

The thread now has real pictures! hooray! I did the shoulder (cut, fold, and glue) in about 4 hours.

Major update!

This Thread now contains real pictures so no one has to click on every single link. My Photobucket is under the same name (Legendary-Halo-Freak) and here is the url:

http://s1099.photobucket.com/albums/g389/Legendary-Halo-Freak/?start=0

I am progressing very quickly, but i think that my Comic Con costume will only consist of the helmet, 2 shoulder pads, and the chest. It all depends on time...

Thank you for viewing and i hope that everyone checks for updates!

Recon Helmet Start!

Well, i spent about 4-5 hours trying to figure out this helmet. This was uber complicated compared to the other ones, soooo...i will figure it out. Here it is-

1/2 Halo Recon Helmet:

I will do a lot of work on the helmet this Friday and possibly the sword...i hope.
Kool beans...

Next time, I suggest you cut out pieces as you go. Then you can just use Pepakura Designer to look for the parts, by right click on the 2d side, and clicking check corresponding face. This way, you don't get that "jigsaw puzzle" feeling when you're sorting through parts.

The weapons, again, are turning out well. The helmet looks a bit warped, but it'll probably fix itself when you get the rest of the pieces in.

I will try that in the future. The helmet is only half done, so i will fix it up tonight and it will retain its shape a bit. Just need the full shape. I got the second shoulder done last night. i just need to do the rest of the helmet and the side and center plates. Tonight i am finishing the sword and might paint it this weekend. WOOO!! working really fast. Pics up laterz!

sry to give you critics but you should spend more time in your peps. your shoulder and the beginning of your helmet is warped and have many leaks (example: the part with the number 11 on your helmet forehead). you should use hot glue and spend more time in the folding process. you can scale up your folding lines in pepakura to get more details and some extra lines. hope this helps .
