Hope this isn't considered a necro post, I would have replied earlier but I didn't have time because of my armor.

The foam armor and weapons turned out real nice. Though, for the helmet, did you even sand the Bondo? It doesn't look like you did, though it adds some "battle damage" to it. Also, what did you use for your visor?

This is great for a first build, and I'm surprised at how fast you managed to pull this off. Awesome job, dude.

Dude, thanks so much. You don't know how much it means to me to have this kind of support. I know the helmet got warped, but i was having trouble with the pep. I used a bottle colored with yellow sharpie for the visor. i am glad that you like the guns, i love all of them. Thanks for the compliment, and i think that i am going to the midnight release of CE next week in costume.

Sorry for the delay, but here is a post about the NYCC!

I went to the nycc on sat and sun. Saturday i just wore the helmet and people loved it. I even got a code for xbox for an energy sword for my avatar. On sunday i met quite a few other spartans (2 home-made, a few store-bought). Everyone love it and my friends/sisters as well. got the legendary tattoos on the second day there. can wait for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary midnight release, i will totally be there.

I colored the outside and i could see completely fine. the only thing reducing the visibility was the helmet itself. i got used to it though. Also, the energy sword code went great with my new Mark V Master Chief xbox armor. Halo CE Anniversary was great and i also just finished Halo 2 for the first time.
