Indeed - the entire world is organized into Kingdoms/Areas (it is an international organization). Look right here:

Anyone who is trying to find their local group just needs to follow the links I posted. From there you can search for you state and see what kingdom it is in, then track down your local groups from there...

For anyone on the east coast ( georgia sc nc virginia area) i go to a larp at kings mtn sc. It does have magic missles but i play a fighter. Still wear full armor and have padded weapons and since i play a barbarian im more of " Screw strategy that person is my enemy and they shall die painfully" but theres alot of role playing involved here too.

I should probably mention that I'm in Trimaris (Florida), the standard SCA rules would forbid something like this so for a weekend we host an EMP event, etc etc.

hey ACDCrockr209 im in california and ive been looking into the more "realistic" LARP like that and i was hoping to start as soon as next year (or as soon as i have enough money) so if your interested we could start a group haha
