I´ve buyed a new Type of LiPo Battery for the Cooling System in my Helmet, that´s currently powered bei two 9V Blocks and a Curcuit for 12V Output.

But the 9V Batteries aren´t strong enough and dont hold long and are too expensive at last.

So I thinked about using a LiPo instead and buyed one that has the same Size as the 9V Battery, but much more mAh and 11,1V.

But i know also the Risk of using LiPos, they can explode (older Types) or just smoke off (new ones). I load them with a computercontrolled Charger and a Ballancer to reduce any Risks, but it is recommended to use them in Helmets?

Putting things that explode or give off toxic smoke around your face or head?

Yeah I'm going to go ahead and file this under the NOT RECOMMENDED category.

Lipo's can pop/explode quite easily, I barely nicked one during the summer with a pebble from the road and it immediately starting hissing and was dead.

Don't use lipo's in your helmet.

Hmm yeah i thinked about that befor...but how about a little Container outside of the Helmet under the Suite?

Or remove LiPo from the whole Suite?

Because i used LiPos in my Airsoft Guns a Time ago and they work fine. But then i got a Problem, what Batterys can is use in the Helmet instead of 9V Blocks to get a long lasting PowerSource?

Li-ion, long battery life without the "danger".
