Local 405th "companies"

Its a good idea, some of us Aussie spartans have been debating this already, but were all so spread out! so were just going to get together for some cons occasionally.

Yeah, that's right. I think we have like...one member per state. Boy that disappointing. Plus the NZ boys it's still a very small number. It would be a very empty garrison Hopefully we can recruit some members in Melbourne this year.

Just starting my armor but I'm all for it. RVB18 - I'm in s. IN...hour from KY. I don't see why it couldn't be done...best bet in my opinion right now is just get with fellow gamers who don't even know about the 405th and educate them! Bring them into the fold! (Can I get an Amen?!) That will not only grow our numbers here but also allow you to help/educate others.

I'm an hour from Nashville atm, I'm at my dad's,but maybe once this starts rolling i can meet-up with people in Oklahoma (moms) and Ohio (Grandma's...I'll be visiting her alot cus shes got cancer.). Anway. You've got some good ideas,but as it was mentioned earlier nothing is official yet. Not that that can stop us from collaboratingon our armor, its just not the 405th. (...yet.)

There seems to be quite a few people in NZ. Me, NZ-TK, timmins(haven't heard from him in a while tho), Belakor, and at least another two.
Personally, I'd actually be quite happy to join up with the Aussies as a company, just not to make armour. International flight is expensive as it is, without having to freight over the MC.

Arowin is another NZer... pity we're all so spread out. There's another guy I know (he's not on here, not that I know of at least) that's interested in a possible Halo troop at Armageddon in Welly next year

I'd be up for doing some troops here and in Aus, Aus wouldn't be 'till next year though... I can fit almost all my armor in one suitcase so transport shouldn't be much of an issue

True. I'm in the top of the south. Either you know where that is or you don't. Timmins is from chch. I was possibly thinking of meeting up with him, but I doubt it'll ever happen, as I have no transport of my own, and its 4-5 hours to get there. So my parents wouldn't exactly be cool with that.

Yeh the ANZ 405th group would be hard to get together with everyone spread out so far, but a few of us are planning to get together for cons in the next year or so. That would be the best time to let other people know about the forums and what we do.
