Hello, I was wondering if someone can make me a full list of items I would need for a pepakura armor. I would like to have the necessary needs for the armor, before hand. So far these are what I know of.

-Polyester Resin
-Bando
-Fiberglass
-spray paint

For mine I used:

Cardstock 32 pages
Elmers glue
Hot glue
Polyester Resin with hardener
Fiber Glass cloth
Bondo with hardener
Body filler
Paint primer
Spray paint
Clear coat

I also used tools like:

Scalpel
Ruler
Cutting board
Multiple various sized Brushes
Acetone
Sand paper
Rotary tool
Bowls w aluminum foil
Cardboard (for support)
Puttyknife
Shop towel
Respirator
Safety goggles
Latex gloves

Probably forgetting something but that's the jist of it.

Don't forget some good heavy cardstock and an exactoknife!

-110lb cardstock
-lots of printer ink
-ruler
-Xacto knife
-patience... lots of patience

There is plenty more not listed yet that you'll need but a little research through the site will go a long way. You should also check out the Complete Respirator and Safety Guide before you start working on anything. You'll need a respirator for your build and I'd also recommend some nitrile gloves to protect your skin. Long pants, long sleeved shirt and a tarp, too, depending on how messy you are.

There's also a pepakura tutorial available to download in the 405th archives.

FYI there are replacements for fiberglass.

when I do pepakura, I use smooth-on smooth cast 300 to harden my stuff. it's a bit easier to work with. less messy.:)

also, where did you decide to keep your grenades?
