One glaring thing I've yet to figure out is where I can carry my cell phone ......? I don't have any convenient leather pouches or pockets like on all my other outfits ... So what clever solutions have people come up with? I put a small pocket on the inside of my thigh at the top so I can...

I'll only be in this costume on Saturday as I'm a finalist in the Novice division for the Masters of Cosplay Sunshine Qualifier. I'll be Ryan Goslin's character (Colt Seavers) from his 2024 The Fall Guy movie - plays a stunt man doubling the Space Cowboy in the movies's 'movie being filmed' on Thursday, then The Ghoul from Fallout TV show on Friday and a random original character Wastelander from Fallout on Sunday.
My pre judging is Saturday at 1pm so I'll have all afternoon after that to wander around and chat with folks as the on-stage portion is not until 6pm that night.
Looking forward to meeting fellow UNSC members next week ...

Yes I do!!! My thread of my armor is here (I hope I linked that right) and I'll have the knees/shoulders by then, maybe the boots too!! I'd love a shotgun by then but I still have yet to print the boots so I doubt it

Thank you! Love yours as well! Really digging the green. I’d love to wear this sat and sun but knowing how busy it was last year I don’t want to bring a costume that may not have all the kinks worked out yet. I’ll see if I can spot you on the other days!

No such thing as dumb questions!

Deployment is how we recognize members of our community for the achievement of completing a costume. The link to read more about it is below. Your first deployment will also allow you to pick a "Deployment ID number" like you see on the name cards under the member's name. (See mine, Drim's, Sweed's, and Mnkr's above) Once you have it, this will be your unique number in the 405th as long as you are part of the community.
To deploy, we take photos of you in your armor and use them to "deploy" you at a tier level. (more on that in the link below)

To deploy, you do need to be a Regiment member first, which requires 50 solid constructive posts and 90 days on the forum. That said, if your suit is done and you don't plan on upgrading it in the near future, we can go ahead and take the photos anyway. Then, you'll have them once you are part of the regiment.

The crunch is getting real over here.... Printing a batch of name tags for those on the confirmed list and I will make some spares to hand write for stragglers, chugging away on the booth, and still have repairs to do on my suits........ It will be fine.......

Also, Qelnosh what area are you in? We have a few in central, and I'm east coast.
