Mix and Match Armor

So, just wondering from a canon standpoint, is mixing and matching armor & helmets considered a Bad Thing? I'm working on a Mark VI Gen 1, but am liking a couple of different helmets than the standard "Master Chief" version. If I go with something different, how off is that? Or should I modify the Mark VI to match the helmet?

Probably overthinking this, but don't want to be looked at as the oddball when I run into you all out in the field!

Anything goes as long as it looks good. Just make sure the files are of similar quality. A Fotus suit with a Halo: CE MJOLNIR helmet would look quite concerning.

Its very except able to mix and match armor. Prime examples: Jorge and Emile's armor are mix and match. So you have every right to build as you like but I agree w/ Takanuva, some pieces just don't go well with each other.

I'm going to mix all sorts of stuff when I finish my armor. Or well, mostly shoulder pieces and knee pieces. I say go with whatever you think will look good.

That's a personal favorite of mine, it's what I typically rolled in Halo 3. It will look great!
