I orignally found out about it on ebay by accidentally finding a preorder that had a crappy picture in japanese. I googled the phrase ' "Field of Battle" HALO ' and came up with a bunch of results. I clicked one of the first one in search of pictures and found these .

As this is only a preproduction figure, it still looks really great, they just need to make that MA5C longer so it can get between his two hands, right now that looks like crap, but the SMG's with the MA5C on the back looks incredible. It appears that this has 3 or four sets of switchable ARMS! Pretty crazy.

Just another kotobukiya statue for me to add to my 3 statue collection at the moment . (Blue, Red, Green) Hopefully I can get a steel colored spartan in a month or so to complete they 4 color series and I have a feeling that there is only going to be on color of this 'Field of Battle' statue, so thats all I will get .

Price is set at 79.99$ it seems with a release date of June this year.

Can't wait.

Almost positive the arms are interchangable. Otherwise they wouldn't have the main torso in the same exact pose.

Awesome! I've got some Koto Shadow of the Colossus figures, and the sculpting is great!! This looks awesome. I want to see their other Chief figures (in person) too. I like the bubble shield in this one, though.

Master Chief holds two M7 SMGs (Caseless Submachine Guns), or you can switch the bonus arms and have him grip his Assault Rifle. When not using the Rifle, it can be stored on his back. Additional hands are also included for expression, and as a special bonus for fans that collected the first Kotobukiya ARTFX Statue, you can swap weapons and hands with the first release!

If this statue was life sized, you could probably mod it into armor or mold it, although, you'd probably get sued by the company who made the statue.

sorry to resurect this topic but i received the new koto 2 week ago and i want to put my litle feedback on it .

ok , lets start by the box , like the first one its a huge one (its explain the shipping fee ) and have background beside the buble . on the back you can see the next two statue to be made who are cortana whit light and two spartant (red) on
a mongoose (that will be very cool display and i hope that they make a blue version two ) .

the statue itself is very cool , whit the changing arm and weapons the possibility are huge . it come whit two smg and a AR but if you have the first version you can take the hand whit the pistols or the energy swords and put it on this one (but if you are like me and have a color version you cant ) also you can take the master replica scale one (BR and covi carabine ) and put them on it too whit the new hand that you can pull off the tumb . the armor and helmet are the same as the first one whit the batle damage .
