Alright so my question is, What would be better for making a mold of a oil based helmet? Rebound-25 or Brush-on 40. They are both from Smoothon. thx

It depends if your clay contains sulphur, there a tin and platinum based silicones, you have to make sure you get the right type or the sulphur content of the clay will stop the rubber from kicking.

As a more general statement, Brush On is generall for wall art sculptures (ex. a sculptur that hangs on a wall and has a flat back).

Rebound 25 is a Mold for things that are in the round. Every aspect of the things is going to be molded such as a helmet. Rebound is able to stretch more and still retain its detail.

Rebound 25 is almost always more acceptable. Adam used it for his ODST helmet And his Half cast AR.

if only rebound 25 wasnt twice the price of most other brush-on silicon rubbers.
how about mould max 30/40, you can get a catalyst that makes it a brush on. has anyone used it before? any good?
