cheers mate, will be working more tomoz, im concentrating on the inside at the mo, kinda made a mess with my dremel when i started to have a fit, ( THAT WAS FUN :/ ) so just sanding it all by hand, will hopefully be adding the wire mesh to the cheeks

i love the look that the wire mesh gives, but i really hate working with it or anything similar to it, i kept poking myself with it, lol. i hope your wire mesh turns out better than mine.

haha, ive never used it before, so dont really know what to expect with it, not really sure how im gona attach it to the cheeks, im not cutting mine out like yours, im just gona insert it ontop into the caved in parts

added the cheek mesh with spotting putty

sanded down the putty and part of the mesh to leave it all smooth

wow, i never thought of using spot putty to attach them. looks very good that way.

well the instructions said to use body filler but i didnt see the point of mixing up such a small batch so just used to putty, turned out better than i thought it would, gona be akward when it comes to painting though :/

hey everyone, im painting it real soon and not sure what colour, i know its ment to be a black and gray combination but that seems boring, i will paint the frontpart ( mouth and nose i guess ) black. but its the rest of it i dont know what colour, like the cheeks and stuff.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ??

red or yellow would probably look really good, or even white. i know i am going to repaint mine probably black with red accents.

was thinking about electric blue, but then it would look too much like sub zero, red could be cool

started the painting now, ive decided to do it baby blue cause im gona give this one to my female cousin, she loves mk and she wants to look like frost, ( female sub zero )
so far ive just sprayed it all blue and covered up the wire mesh, will cover up the blue tomoz and paint the main mouth/ nose piece black,
will have pics soon if you dont understand

cheers mate, only gona spray the front section black tomoz and then im done tbh, will see what the wire looks like when i take tape off, its grey underneath, if i have to i will spray it blue to get underneath and then paint it silver by hand, but not gona build something to attach it to face
she can do that herself

just added masing tape so areas i didnt wana spray, it cracked for some reason but i like it

Looks fantastic. I have to agree with you on the cracks. They look pretty baller.

Great job! Are you going to complete the rest of the costume and wear it, or just have it as a totally awesome prop hanging around?

i love the cracks but really dont know how to do it again lol, just a random thing but love it
this is actually for my cousin, she dressing up as frost, just modeling it for show. she has the costume already made, ( she amazing at sewing )
all she needed was the mask and i had the way
