I've been working on it since January and I finally finished it friday night. On saturday, I spent all day at Tekko 09, Anime convention in Pittsburgh, PA. Here's pictures of my finished armor at the con.

Looks good, the helmet looks a little big but, its no biggie. I believe this is the first suit I've seen with any permutations.

That's a big katana for Hayabusa. lol, nice job,

don't take any of this offensive but, you can still see the fold lines pointing out. A little sandingand bondoing will fix that. And maybe paint your helmet, w/ spray paint. Correct me if i'm wrong. Yeah, so next time after fiberglassing a piece, sand a little bit, then lots or smalll bondo ( depending on how the piece looks), wet sanding, primer, paint, input visor, masterpiece.

Really good for the first try dude :D

I didn't have time to do the bondo and sanding step. I started building in January and between school and work, I had to rush to have the armor done on time.

I like the 'Busa in white! Awsome! Bondo? Sanding? Next one!

Looks like the sword need a Halo touch... 'Busa vs Anime? 'Busa everytime!

I think I turned out well. Color is different from most. Now for the fold lines, no one knows what they are but us anyway.
Good work!

wow! thats some good armour, too bad you didn't have time to resin etc to it :(
Nice Buster Sword too ;D i'd like me one of those.

Absolutely Amazing. You have worked so hard on your suit and it looks great. Awesome job.

I am plannig on finishing off some stuff before I fly out to Boston to go to the anime convention there. I'm curenntly working on a CQB helmet to wear with it because I ran into some snags with my Busa at the last one. First of all, I completely failed to relize that the neck guard on the back of the Busa doesn't mix will with the little boxy things on the shoulders of the chest piece. This made it so that I couldn't turn my head make 7 hour walking armound a convention very uncomfortable. And also, I made it to big and didn't have time to make a more fittled replacement. Having the CQB will allow for more movement on the head and a greater field of vision. I also didn't have time to fix the upper arm pieces I made that go under the security attachments. Wouls have had them in time but they colapsed allittle after during the drying of the fiberglass and became to distorted to wear. I'm eithe going to fix the ones I made or make a new set the help the shoulders stay on my arms better. They way I had to rig them temporarilly for the Pittsburgh convention severly restricted my arm movement. I also need to sand down some the the fiber glass on the inside of some of the pieces. I'll post these updates to my original I finish them.

you know i always hated the scout chest... but yours looks really good, short of a little bit of smoothing, everything looks great.

great job man, cant wait to see what she looks like with a little bit of bondo.
