So, im new to this comunity and its the first time i make such a complex cosplay (for me). I know, i know, it looks crappy as hell, but im proud of it. after all, i made it in two weeks (and with cardboard, since here eva foam is... not cheap).
the top of the head was of a pdo model that i found her for the halo ce version. i was going to make it all, but i was running out of time and it was also too big (i think the model is not that optimized for cosplaying) so i modified it and eyeballed the rest. same with the arms, legs and everything. i had to prioritize some parts over others wich made scrap the thigs and puches (wich is a sin ill not forgive, nex time puches are priority).
The visor was actually really simple. A broken acrylic face protector with gold polarized. A lot simpler and even cheaper than tinting and chrome painting techninch. with thinner translucent plastics and tiferent layers you could probably make the mk6 weird thingy. (yes, i did forget the flashlights on the sides)
(helmet by itself along side the motorcycle helmet a friend found in the street modified for a red hood cosplay)
The magnum was really fun to make. i was stressed asf on the arms so i took a break to make it.
the base i used was an x-shot gun (image alongside the others below). I took out the orange thingy on top, cutted the original trigger guard and then i extended the handle, put the new hand guard and detailed the top to make it look like halo ce magnum (although is a weird mix from it and the reach one).
for the paint jus shiny black spray (perfect base for metallics) and a silver drybrush. since i didn't blocked the shooting mechanism it still can shoot darts
(it was rainig that day lol)
at the end it was a nice trip. I went to a spring festival on my school and in the costume contest wich i of course inscripted i ended up winning best solo cosplay wich made me win a new pair of headphones jaja.
(cardboard is underrated for complex cosplays guys, if i had more time i would had paper mached it and it would had been more resistent)
Now im planning to make the ma5b with an old spiderman watergun and in the future i'll remake this cosplay the way i imagined.
See ya!
