My First Master Chief Progect. With Lot A Pics.

First off, everything looks absolutely great so far, keep it up.



Secondly, I have a quick question. How strong is the final piece while only doing the rondo method and forgoing fiberglass? I'm new but I've been surfing these forums for the past couple days watching every tutorial video and reading everything I could get my eyes on, and I couldn't seem to find an answer for this.



Also, how much rondo do put on the outside/inside?

its still strong and I still have mesh on it before I rondo it..... I buy a self adhesive dry wall tape and stick it in before I poor the rondo in... It's fiber glass but alittle more loosely knitted. So I I just use that fiber glass tape, u can get a 50 foot roll for like 8 bucks. It does make the suit a little heavier tho I have dropped my forearm onto cement on accident and nothing happened to it..



As for the helmet I mad the rondo a little thicker and just uses it on the the parts that needed to be rounded for the out sides... So the backarea and the front where the mouth is, no dry wall mesh on the outside tho
