actually i wanted to try something other than bondo, so i coated the whole thing in clay, but i wouldnt recommend going that route...

Why not? Is it hard to sand down?

just a random question, does anybody know what would make for a good functional pouch that goes on the sides of the belt? i want it to be functional so when im wearing my suit i can store some cash and my phone and whatnot, but i also want it to look somewhat accurate... i sculpted one out of clay with some ill advised notion to mold it, then i realized that that doesnt make any sense, so im open to any suggestions...

You know te little side pouch that is on the belt. i would put a backing on your molded or peped piece against the spot that faces your thigh. Then i would cut the top off and put a hinge on it.

haha, love that pic, very... inpsiring i guess... thats kinda what i had in mind, maybe ill give it a shot... as for the clay, it is just annoying to get smooth, but that probably just because i stink at working with it, but id stick woth bondo and rondo for smoothing...

yeah, just use lotso bondo especially on the undetailed parts and use cardboard to get some detail... oh, and a dremel tool come in omega handy...

I have an Elite and i pray before each time i turn it on.
I don't even charge the controller from its USB ports, I use my PC to avoid disturbing the 360 in any way.

Here is the chest piece, back piece, shoulder, and forearm put together ...

(The color of the chest piece will be the final color of Matt's suit)

im still debating on my colors... however, ive narrowed it down to the rustoleum metallic sage you see on the chest, the american accents orregeno, and there is still a small hope for blue... oh, and that green helmet is just an old one i got a while back for me old pep suit, ive got a sweet new BlueRealm on the way, the thorsolli just didnt fit right, although it looks amazing...
