I've recently started nodding my own CS 1.6 mod which basically keeps the core features of it, but I need models for weapons and characters anyone who's willing to donate some will get credit and whatnot

The project sounds very noble, but we're not really a modding community, and as such, we discourage the discussion of acquiring and using models for such purposes. You're more than welcome to use the assets in our Archives, naturally, but that's about as much as we can help you here on the 405th - we're here for costuming, not modding.
