Need tips on Worbla.

Hey guys just picked up some clear worbla online and I need some tips. So my visor right now before i cut it out is 3 layers of fiberglass resin, card-stock, and then another 3 layers of resin. So when i melt the worbla will it stick to the resin? or does it just pop off? Any help would be great!

Most of us here do not use worbla in our outfits. Now, using the clear worbla, aka TransparaArt is not such a good idea. It is translucnet but not clear enough to be seen through for a visor. I am taking this from all the research I have done, and watching various YouTube videos about TranspArt.

ok well my coworker is going to try and see and the stuff i have is completely clear like glass. let me see if i can get a picture,
its hard too see but its completely clear

Once you heat and shape it though it starts to get warbles in it that distort vision

Yeah....it's not a super great visor option but it's not horrible either. It doesn't at all stick like regular Worbla does though. Worbla really only sticks to itself....kinda. I mean it sticks to other stuff a little but not like it sticks to itself. Clear though doesn't even stick to itself well though. You'd have to glue it in to your helmet. I'm interested to see how this goes for you. I have a Destiny Warlock helmet that is going to be a nightmare to get a visor in so I'm curious about whether the clear Worbla with tint might be my only hope.

I worked with transpaArt before and tried to make some lenses...
The material gets very wobbly ( compared to 'normal' Worbla) if you heat it up and scratches easy.

Also one layer is super thin so you should use at least 2 layers and that makes it even more difficult to keep the effect of good view.

Do you want just a clear visor or are you going to color it?

Well clear for now but I'm looking for a blue hex pattern tinting can't find anything yet though
