Happy little accidents. Left my chest in the car like a dummy. Started to crack where it’s glued together. So I improvised on the fly.

Love this! The embedded Blamite shard is a fantastic touch.

Love the paint scheme! If you can I would use plastic staples on the back side of that crack really reinforces it, only down side is the thermal leaching might make the crack look worse but you have that needle there to compensate!

Oh and be careful with the back plate on those galactic armory files, the rounded bit that goes under your armpit can really dig into you if you don't get it fixed, they added too much of an inward curve to it!

Thanks for the heads up! I did just plastic weld the backside without staples but have definitely looked at getting something to help strengthen the welds.

I chose to not do the backside without staples plate, just making a simple under vest out of EVA. Sounds like it’s a good thing I chose to do it that way!

They are very thin! For now I plan to use a hot knife and fill the voids with UV resin

i like the weld on the left shoulder.. like a quick fix in the field.

Holds a little better than duct tape. But not much better with these skills

Got most of the torso weathered and ready to attach. Started work on a foam vest and got one shin battle damaged today. Was a fairly productive day. I’m itching to try it on but don’t wanna rush anything

Getting closer to the end of the tunnel. Gun attached to chest with clips. Visor will be in tomorrow to dye. Need to weather the shins and forearms. And it will be done!

Did some dyeing today and had a happy accident. Think I had some leftover dye in my pot and the new visor turned a weird purple/brown. Added some chrome to the backside and boom bronze. I’ll take it!

Starting to see light at the end of the tunnel for my ODST build! Working with Galactic Armory 3d print files and a little elbow grease sanding . Plan is to have done for Galaxy Con OKC

I like the color scheme you're using, it's very unique.

The little details like the needle shot that's in the shoulder plate make it really pop out, cant wait to see the finished product

Fantastic job on the colors. I'm always a fan of a good white and blue combo, but I never thought to add orange to it.

The ONLY reason i used orange is i can here my high school art teacher talking about how color opposites on the color wheel go together. So thats my first go too when looking for complementary colors! lol

Everything is weathered! first-ish full suit up on the dummy! Walked around in the shins last night to make sure that i can comfortably go up and down stairs, Only thing i have left to do is put the buckles on the chest! and IF time permits attach a quick release back pack system for a camelbak.
